This is my last post on the Sisterhood of the Jaunty Quills. I’m terrible at goodbyes. So let’s not say goodbye, okay? Let’s pretend like this is any other day. Because even though we won’t be meeting here, we can still hang out on my Facebook “author” page or my Facebook “books page. Or on Instagram. I have a Twitter account, but I must confess, I’m not very good at keeping my thoughts down to 140 characters. If you haven’t signed up for my newsletter, please do. I only send it out a few times a year. I promise not to barrage you. If you haven’t signed up and would like to, please email me at nrobardsthompson@yahoo.com and I’ll put you on the list.

the-cowboys-runaway-brideAnyhow, I was thinking about my favorite JQ memories. I have so many I’d be here for days recounting them all. If you’ll share yours, I’ll send you a gift. Yes, that means every person who posts by November 4, 2016 will receive an e-book copy of my January book, THE COWBOY’S RUNAWAY BRIDE, when it’s released on January 1. It will be a while before you receive it, but when it appears in your inbox, think of it as me popping in to say hello.

What’s your favorite JQ memory?

I’m sorry. I can’t narrow it down to one specific memory.

I have enjoyed talking with all of you here. I’ve laughed at most of Jaunty’s antics through the years. I might even have made suggestions for things he could do too….

I’m not on FB, Instagram, or Twitter, but I look forward to seeing you on other blogs – the sooner, the better! (I’m already a newsletter subscriber, of course!)

Thanks for being so generous with us all, Nancy, and all the best to you and your family, now and always.

Not one particular memory but the overall enjoyment of this site. All the wonderful authors and posts and different topics but especially the give and take – that is what I’ll miss the most. I do hope to see most of you around the internet! Best wishes to all.

Let’s say till soon instead of goodbye my mom always says! I love all the personal stories & responses to your own comments. You really are made to feel like a part of a close group of friends here 😀

I can’t narrow the list to just one. I enjoyed reading authors’ post. It brightened my mornings.

  5. Glenda says:

I can’t say that I have one favorite post. I’ve enjoyed reading pretty much every single one over the years – even when I’ve been so busy that I’m playing catch up after missing a week (or 2).

  6. Rochelle says:

Jaunty Quills has been one of my go to sites every day. I have loved the topics and behind the scenes look at being an author.

Thanks for inspiring me with memorable posts. My fave of yours was making a gratitude box/jar. I loved being accountable for that every day.

  7. Amy says:

I don’t think I have missed reading the blog every day since I found it. I have loved the interesting topics and the questions posed. My favorite thing has been getting to know the authors….JQ, as well as guests.

Thank you for the offer but I don’t use e-readers because I get migraines from them.

My favorite memories are when Jaunty gets involved in interviews with cute but snarky comments. They really had me laughing.

    when the authors attended festivals

  10. The humor and honesty is what I remember most. Positivity and being part of the lives of authors you love.

I visited daily since I discovered the blog & have loved every moment that I soend with you ladies! Going to miss chatting with you all.

  12. Annette Naish says:

I think my favorite moments have been when each of you talked about your lives. Each of you have given me the opportunity to feel as though underneath all the talent, you are real people. 🙂 I believe that is one reason this blog has been so enjoyable for me. I got to see each of you as wonderful women.

I love this blog because of the great mix of authors and readers, commenting on all sorts of fun and meaningful topics. So, my favorite memory is knowing that whenever I clicked to visit the JQs, I knew I would find an intriguing, worthwhile post. I’ll miss y’all.

I’m going to miss the blog. Discovered it not too long ago when I wanted to check out soms of my favorite authors backlists. I enjoyed comming by every day and sharing stories, winning a book was pretty special too!! I’m not on facebook, twitter or instagram or any such thing. Knowing how to post a comment here is as modern as I go. But I’ll be checking back on older posts the ones I have missed.
