In August with the release of A Case of Kiss and Tell, I reached a milestone with my publisher Harlequin. I have published 50 books with them. It’s hard for me to remember a time when I wasn’t writing for them. Though in a conversation with Dianne Moggy at the cocktail reception, I did mention to her that in my pre-pubbed days I thought there was something magical happening in Don Mills, Toronto where Harlequin is based. She assures me there isn’t, that it is just an office building!
It was a fun day actually being a part of the Mills & Boon author luncheon. The one thing that has become apparent to me the longer I’m part of the writing world is how cool authors are. Every one of the women I talked to was fascinating. I met Mary (wish I’d gotten her last name) who had been writing historical romances for Mills & Boon since 1985. But mainly we just talked about books.
I just wanted to say thank you to all the readers who’ve bought my books over the years. I hope you have enjoyed reading them as much I enjoyed writing them.
Tell me about a milestone in your life for a chance to win one of three electronic copies of my very first Harlequin Desire (except it was called Silhouette Desire back then!) The Bachelor Next Door. She’s trapped in the bathroom, her son is desperate to get to school on time and the only one he can find to help is her dreamy neighbor who she said had nice buns!

Congratulations!!
As a single mother of 2 young children, I started college. I took night classes and studied after work, and after the chores at home were done. It took a few years and lots of hard work, but I was able to graduate with a 4 – year degree.

My big milestone was after breast cancer surgery, radiation and five years of Tomaxifin, I didn’t have to see an oncologist anymore. What a milestone that was for me.
Fifty books! My goodness that is fabulous! I’m so happy and proud of you. You rock!

Congratulations on writing 50 books, Katherine! I have 3 milestones — when we got married, turned 60 years old, and when we found out my DH has Stage 4 Lymphoma cancer. He has been undergoing chemo, up for a bone marrow transplant, and we are praying for remission.
