I ask you, how long has it been since we’ve all gotten together for a virtual party? Way too long is my answer!
That’s why I’ve cleaned the house and sent the animals to stay at a friend’s home…so you can all come over and we can have fun day.
I’m furnishing the soft drinks and tea. And the margarita mix. But I’m curious to see what you’re bringing….an old favorite perhaps? Or are you trying out a new recipe?
Believe me with this group, the wilder and crazier the better. And, if you’re not much of a cook or baker, I’m sure the crowd will be happy if you bring a bottle of wine or some beer or some… Really, anything goes for this virtual party.
I’ve dug TWISTER out of the basement in case we get tired of talking and want to do the retro thing…
I hear the doorbell ringing. My heart is fairly humming with excitement (or perhaps I’ve already had too much caffeine lol). Regardless, I’m hurrying to the door to welcome you.

I agree, “animals” are always welcome. My favorite drink is cabernet savignon so I’ll bring a couple of bottles
and how about my shrimp dip too!

Sandi, Actually our blue heeler is not very friendly and I don’t think he’d let you to the front door. But all other animals are welcome! And love the chocolate chip cookies.
Kathleen, Yum, hot broccoli dip and vodka coolers are defintely a welcome addition.
Catslady, I’m putting your shrimp dip next to Kathleen’s broccoli dip, while grabbing one of Sandi’s cookies.
Oh, wait, I hear the doorbell. Can’t wait to see who’s there!

I’ll drop by by noon. Of course I’m bringing the dessert! Hard to decide which one to bring but how about hot chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream? I’ll bring hot fudge, nuts and whipped cream for those who want to make a sundae instead.
Can’t stay long. Headed to Trace Atkins concert tonight!

Oooh, Trace Atkins! If he doesn’t have plans after the concert, bring him over.
And I love all the toppings and the ice cream! Maybe I’ll make an ice cream sandwich?
Don’t you think that goes good with wine?

I’m sure I can get him to do a private concert for us tonight…or at least 4 or 5 songs. Will that do?

Cyndi D’Alba, get your hands off Jane’s chocolates, they’re mine….oh, I mean they’re for everyone to share.
And Rose Champagne…that’s not going to last long.
I hear the doorbell…I wonder who’s come to join us!
