I can't think of anything I've hated--many were so stupid but I watch most for free on DVD now. $8 for a movie now!

I have really only read Christina Dodd´s series The Chosen Ones and The Darkness Chosen. I absolutely love them. As for vampires, I hate them, they make me freak out
with fright, they make me sleep with a light for days...
I don´t read or watch anything having to do with v.... Don´t know why :Op And I read all the Harry Potter books (both in English and Icelandic) and loved them :Ö) Waiting impatiently for the last to movies

I'm not a big paranormal fan, but my husband loves the sci-fi, paranormal stuff so I've been sucked into Fringe. I'm usually not too pumped to watch each episode, but always enjoy them. It is a really interesting show. Last year I also got hooked onto True Blood though haven't read the books. Sorry no recommendations since I don't really read paranormal, but I imagine if I started I'd get into the genre a little more. I do like light paranormal or mystical elements in books, like ghosts coming back to help the main characters. Kinda like the thought that there's something/someone out there looking over you.

I love scary movies and creepy books, but I haven't really gotten on the paranormal bandwagon. I'm just not that into vampires... But (like Kristan) I was thinking Legion might be my kind of thing.

I'm not really a paranormal fan, but I read Sharie Kohler and Kerrelyn Sparks (and not just because they're my friends). I'm trying to read more paranormal and watch more on TV. I kind of like space shows like V, but I didn't have time to watch it this fall.

I enjoy Paranormals, especially if the unique story world is really well crafted for the reader. One of my favorite paranormal TV series is Sanctuary. I have yet to see Season 2, but the whole concept of the series is really clever and neat!

I LOVE Supernatural and trust Kripke to bring us through. I love True Blood, too. I like paranormal TV more than books, though I'm reading the first Joss Ware now. Creepy.

I think Harry Potter and Twilight have really snared a lot of readers who wouln't normally like the supernatural genre. Also, shows like Lost, vampire diaries and true blood have really the whole vampire, weirdness thing going on. Who wouldn't love the hero of any seanario even more if he was immortal. Hard enough to keep a guy in the real world :lol:how bad would it be if he is gazing at you with adoration for all eternity. I am currently reading Darren Shan an Irish writer, for kids apparently but who cares. I have always been a Stephen King, James Herbert nut so I do like the odd supernatural happening. I have just discovered historical romance novels so I have to delve into that first..immortals later.

I don't watch paranormal shows and I don't read paranormal book either. Paranormal is everywhere and hard to miss. Sometimes I even feel like finding a straight contemporary romance to read is a bit complicated.
I don't read those because to be honest, I'm a scardy cat and all those paranormal stuff give me the creeps. I'm the girl who can't watch Criminal Minds on TV when DH is not at home after all ;-)

I too love the Jim Butcher books. And I love Supernatural, though I feel a bit like they're going down the rabbit hole this season. I'll be interested in seeing where they're going with it.
As for other books, I don't read a ton of paranormal. Lately I've been thinking of starting one of the urban fantasy series, but there are so many out right now, I'd have no idea what's really good. Anyone have any recommendations?
