Can someone please get me an editor I seriously have become spell checker challenged. I do know faithful is not spelt fateful…argh!!I counted 6 typing erors in that one comment alone. My ability to spell even simple words has been made redundant by my spell checking..easy edit life style. I’m the Tiger Woods of spelling mistakes!

Too tru, I’m so sick of these celebrities who seem to think it is ok to sleep with every person who waves a autogaph book at the. Tiger Woods clocked up so many he didn’t spend I night as a fateful married guy. I also agree where are all the Paul Newman type gone. When did it become ok to rape children, murder your spouse and general prostitue yourself to the highest bidder because you are a celebrity(and I use the term lightly). Seriously though you know if Tiger Woods wasn’t famous I would touch him with yours:)

It is an addiction when it interferes with your life… You would rather be in bed with someone than going to work, finding work, paying bills, meeting with family, conversing, eating, etc.

Various politicians and celebrities are copping out.

Frankly I think the whole addiction thing is a load of crap. There seems to be a syndrome or addiction or label provided to explain any and every type of behavior out there. While most of us remain faithful to our spouses there are those in the news that just can’t help it. Give me a break. Commitment takes work, it’s a conscious decision and it seems sad that there are so many who don’t seem to grasp that. Perhaps if they read more romance novels.

It is really tough to raise kids now – everything is out in the open, and while that might become the new “norm” in 20 years, there’s a lot that kids are exposed to that we parents would rather they didn’t learn quite yet. They – as parents in the future – will probably view it altogether differently.

100% agree with you Shana. My sons are 3 and 9 and I can’t leave them watch TV alone, even in the afternoon. It’s partly why I cancelled my cable subscription… we couldn’t even watch TV anymore. The only channel that is on in my house is the cartoon network… much safer

Hypocrits, immature, entitled, greedy, and even murder and yet people still seem to still idolize them. I have a limit where I just can’t watch an actor (even some that use to be my favorite) after their over the top antics (vices). Everyone has an excuse and no one is responsible anymore. That’s where I hate calling it an illness. It’s pure selfishness and thinking only of oneself. I may forgive but I never forget lol.

Well, this might sound strange coming from a romance writer–but then again, maybe not because I write about love not sex. Anyway, I think the whole culture is sex obsessed. I can’t turn on the TV or radio or drive down the freeway or go to a movie without being bombarded by sex. Those of you who have kids know what I mean. I used to teach middle school and was constantly wondering how to explain some of what we saw and they asked about.

I think anything can become an addiction, and unlike alcohol or cigarettes, you can’t get away from sex very easily.
