Fedora, I can relate with the buried under books thing. I have a lot of novels, and lots of research books. My floorboards groan.

Count me in among those with a serious book addiction! I hope I don’t end up buried under them someday, but there are so many that it’s certainly possible Shoe are cute, but I have no knack for choosing them, so I must leave that to others with better taste!

I love cosmetics. I can’t pass by a Sephora without going in. I love checking out the makeup brushes and testing eye shadow colors.

Ladies, my addiction is shower gels When I go shopping I just have to make tour on cosmetics to see if there is anything new; there usually is. It is a cheap addiction, but really embarrasing one. Once I came home with six new bottles… But I never run out of shower gels…

Another one is books, definitely.

My girlfriend has a shoe addiction. She has alway had shoes everywhere! With me it fabric! If its on sale I can’t pass it up. Along with the fabric its the books so I kind of got fabric and books all over the house. I do some quilting and you just got to have your stash. Then when I go to make a quilt I have to buy more fabric because what you have doesn’t blend with what you want to make. So its back to the fabric store.

Well aside from the obvious, books, I am a candle lover so I am always picking up candles. Won’t let myself go into Yankee Candles anymore, I could drop a bundle that I don’t have. My 4 year old granddaughter is a shoe-aholic. She already has more shoes and boots than I do.

Rachie, I love the sock obsession! That is so unique. And monkey socks???? Wow. Love the secret wild thang too.

These “obessions” do get pricey, Minna. I went through a knitting phase years ago and still — still — have yarn in tubs. We won’t take about the sewing phase and all the fabric I found lately. *sigh*

But the shoe thing and the book thing have been the only constants. Like that’s a good excuse. *snort*

Margo, I work in medical too and understand the need for comfort, but that hasn’t stopped me. There are so many need professional shoes out there!!!

LOL, catslady. I’ve been accused of the same with my books. Will it stop me? Heck no!

Books, books and more books. I just can’t help myself. I love having them around me (and boy are they lol). My husband says one day he’s going to come home and I’ll be buried under them after one of my shelves has let loose lol. I bought 13 just today!!!!!

I used to have the shoe craze. When I first met my husband, I had about 30-40 pair. He was astonished, to say the least. But as my nursing career progressed, my shoe obsession diminished – I only cared about foot *comfort.*

Now, my obsession is books. Love them. In fact, we just bought another bookcase for the overflow…
