Today’s the day I’ve been waiting for… Accidental Cinderella and An Angel in Provence hit the shelves! I can’t believe I have two books out in one month.
The best way to describe An Angel in Provence is to think Under the Tuscan Sun meets The Holiday – only set in Provence. For Accidental Cinderella, think Cinderella meets the Food Network.
They’re fun reads that will take you on a mini vacation.
In celebration, I’ve decided a double release means a DOUBLE contest!
You’re going to have to work a little to win the first one because it’s a scavenger hunt. But the prize is worth it… a custom-made, gold-toned charm bracelet with gold Swarovski pearls. To commemorate the release of Accidental Cinderella and An Angel in Provence, I had two bracelets made; one for me and one to give away to a special reader.

To enter, here’s what you have to do:
- Pop over to my website NancyRobardsThompson.com
- On the right side of the page, you’ll see my bookshelf. Click on the first book – An Angel in Provence. It will take you to a page on Amazon.com that features this book. Scroll down to the excerpt and read it.
- After you’re finished, answer the following question: What time did Rita’s husband come into the bedroom?
- Go back to NancyRobardsThompson.com.
- Click on the second book on the bookshelf – Accidental Cinderella. Again, it will take you to a page on Amazon.com that features this book. Scroll down to the excerpt and read it.
- After you’re finished, answer the following question: What is the name of the man that Lindsay almost married?
- You’re almost finished… the last thing you have to do is, e-mail the answers to the two questions. The e-mail address is NrobardsThompson@yahoo.com. Please include your complete mailing address – including zip code – so that I can send you the bracelet if you’re the lucky winner!
Then stay tuned… On November 1, I will notify the winner.
In the meantime, I’m curious… what’s your favorite way to celebrate? Obviously, I like holding contests… and toasting with champagne! Tell me how you like to celebrate, and later tonight, I’ll draw the name of one poster who will receive a copy of Accidental Princess (the prequel to Accidental Cinderella) AND What Happens in Paris (the prequel to An Angel in Provence). Thanks for joining in the fun. Cheers!

Double release day is indeed something worth celebrating! Congrats, Nancy. I just finished (late last night) a long push on some big ol’ revisions and I’ll definitely be celebrating. Tonight The Professor is taking me to one of our favorite restaurants (not fancy, a total hole in the wall) and I’ll be having the most amazing pancakes on the planet. Then tomorrow I’m having a spa day with my mom. Can’t wait!
And I know it won’t take too much arm twisting to get The Professor to turn into the Borders we drive past on the way home…. I have so many wonderful books to pick up. Ah, I’ve missed reading.

Congratulations, Nancy! A double release day — wow!
Since my latest release sort of coincides with my birthday, which is next week, we’ll be doing a lot of double celebrating around here, too. I’ll be out to dinner with family and friends, and I’ve got a few lunch dates scheduled. Yippee!

Yay, Nancy! Must feel great, two books on the same day! Last night I finished the first draft (always the hardest part) on my latest book, and I celebrated by just putting away my laptop, as it was starting to shoot roots into my legs.
As for celebrating, McIrish usually takes me out to dinner, and I get one of those pretty martinis. Not a champagne person myself.

Fantastic….two releases!! What a wonderful celebration you’ll have.
Well, I’m half Italian and all celebrations revolve around food and family and more food.
When the budget allowed it, my husband and I celebrated our big number anniversaries in Bermuda (where we honeymooned). But even with a tightened budget, toasting your love in a fancy restaurant or a pop-up tent at a bluegrass festival (which we did this year) it’s still a celebration!

Congratulations!! A double release calls for a double celebration. How about some chocolates to go with that champagne? Chocolate always makes me feel luxurious and festive.
When I feel like celebrating my feet tap on the floor and I hear a song comming in my head/heart and I just wanna dance. So I like to go out with a friend and dance the night away.

Wow, congratulations! What a day for great news. Between Nancy’s two releases, Robyn finishing her revisions and Kristan finishing her rough draft, we’re having a banner day here at the Jaunty Quills!
(Btw, did anyone notice how many releases we have this month? How cool are we???)
As for how I celebrate … well, I love having a party. But recently the Geek and I celebrated our anniversary by going out to a nice restaurant (without the kids!). The food was so amazing. And it was so nice not having someone climbing all over me.

Food seems to be the theme lol. A nice restaurant is always wonderful – and depending on the celebration – either with lots of friends and family (or a party at home) or an intimate night out. When it’s just the two of us we love to find a restaurant that serves escargot (he was born in france lol) but they’re getting harder to find – apparently not too many endulge in what we think is a great delicacy. Oh and champagne or a good wine is always an extra bonus.
Congrats on your books!!
