I’m a quote junkie. I admit it. I have inspiring words to the left of my computer. If I look to my right I have some more. What I like about quotes is in a few short words they motivate and inspire.
quote
I think most of us strive to be the best we can be…but it doesn’t hurt to be reminded.

Here are a few favorites of mine:

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act but a habit. Aristotle

This thing we call failure is not the falling down; it’s the staying down. Mary Pickford

Each of us makes a difference. It is from numberless acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. John F. Kennedy

I’m asking for your favorite quote(s). Why?

Because I need more to add to my collection….AND because I’ll be picking a winner from everyone who comments. That person will win a copy of my July Silhouette Special Edition Your Ranch or Mine? which will be out on the shelves next week!

Congratulations for your new release !!
Being french I had to pick a french quote, at least here is the translation :
“In love, women are professionals, men are amateurs.”
Francois Truffaut, french writter and director.
(En amour, les femmes sont des professionnelles, les hommes des amateurs)

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you imagined. – Thoreau

I use to have an entire collection of favorite quotes and then my computer crashed (sigh).

Ignore everything they say, watch what they do.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of a few.

    To resist is futile.

    Live long and prosper

I’m a big star trek fan lol.

    Quote of the century:

‘Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she’ll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she’ll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she’ll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she’ll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit.

Hi Cindy. I loved Claiming the Rancher’s Heart. Here are some quotes I like:
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.
    Eleanor Roosevelt

Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact.
    Henry James

The beauty of the world has two edges, one of laughter, one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder.
    Virginia Woolf

    Love quotes. My favorite is:

It doesn’t matter what you do in the bedroom so long as you don’t take it out in the street and frighten the horses.

But I love this one from Carrie Fisher:

Resentment is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.

and this one from Samuel Johnson:

The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.
