To me that sounds like the ultimate “writer’s life.” I must have adult ADD because if I try to write in public, I end up people watching. My old office was so dark. I’ve had to get used to all this natural light in my new place. But I’m loving it. My former office was celery green; but I read a color psychology article that said green makes you hungry (no wonder I always wanted to snack as I wrote. I couldn’t help it :wink: ). Mine used to be my cave, too. But now I work on my laptop anywhere in the house. My routine is to write/revise all morning, then leave the house after lunch and go to Starbuck's or the library to write. Keeps me away from distractions and temptations!
