Hey, Kathy! Thanks for posting this post--and for making me aware of Susan Wigg's pledge of being thankful this month via Facebook!

So I'll list 3 things here:

1. For my cousins who twisted my arm to get me on Facebook. It's been great getting to check in with friends there every day, but also with relatives I haven't been in touch with on a regular basis, who I now get to be connected with by little status updates every day!

2. For friends like Kathy who remind me to be thankful and appreciate what I have.

3. Two great lectures at RWA national this year--and the speakers' books--which continue to help me with my writing. (Blake Snyder & Eric Maisel)

I have tons more I'm thankful for, but will keep it to 3 here!

An excellent list, Kathy! I agree with Shana--I'm so blessed! My family and friends are precious!

And I'm happy with my gigantic TBR, too :)

Nice post, Kathy! Like just about everyone on earth, I'm awfully grateful for my family. But sometimes it's the little thing that make or break a day, so I'm grateful for those, too...a compliment on my hair, which is so unreliable...the "House" marathon on TNT...a perfect cuppa joe...my cat sitting with me in an unexpected show of affection. Those little things are sometimes too underrated.

For starters, Kathy, like you I'm thankful for internet shopping--if for no other reason than it gives us the ability to order books that my stinkin' B&N can't or won't keep on the shelf. But also because it makes shopping for the holidays *so* much easier.

And I'm thankful for that all the people I love are (basically) happy and healthy. And that it looks like we're going to have a nice cool Christmas. Oh, and that I have a book due before Christmas, rather than just after, so I'll be able to enjoy the season.

I have so much to be thankful for. I'm truly blessed. Most of it's personal, and I don't want to post it here, but I'll just say that some things I took for granted, I don't see that way anymore.
