New Year’s Eve!

It’s New Year’s Eve Day! W00T!

Any plans for tonight? Watching the ball drop on tv? Going to see the ball drop? Going to a party with friends? Hanging with family? Chilling with some popcorn, a fireplace and some comfy socks? For whatever you choose to do tonight, I wish you a safe and happy New Year’s Eve.

   Happy New Year to everyone
   I will be sitting at home watching the fireworks on Sydney Harbour and trying to keep one of my dogs calm she is very scared of loud noises.

   We’re going to the movies (Charlie Wilson’s War) with my husband’s brothers and sister and their spouses. Then back to a b-i-l’s for dinner and Midnight. Then it’s home (through the snow) to bed. At 12:15.

   We are going out to a very nice dinner with some friends, then we’re all coming back to our house for some dessert and just low-key hanging out before midnight. We have wine and champagne and I’m making fudge and some other desserts today.

   It should be very laid back and nice.

   Well, I’m going to a big party at a swanky hotel. There’s a buffet dinner, casino games, 2 bands, midnight breakfast, champagne toast, etc. If I check in a little late tomorrow, you’ll know why!

   We’ll probably have a fire, now that we can get to the fireplace since we (finally!) moved the changing table into the baby’s room. And a bottle of sparkling cider, a gift when the baby was born. Can we stay up ’till midnight? Hmm.

   Have fun at the parties! And Anne, thanks for the clip! I miss Merv and Johnny. Who’s the singer? Sounds familiar…
