With the holidays drawing ever closer, it’s that time of year once again to start making out those lists so that the jolly guy in red will know just what you’d like to find under your tree come Christmas morning. I already received my big ticket item this past weekend when my family gifted me with a Playstation 3 as an early present. (Of course, they totally ignored my request for Hugh Jackman to be delivered to my front door, complete with a big red bow. Sigh. Somehow that request gets overlooked every year…) There are a few other small things on my list. Some books and CDs and DVDs. And yes, joy, peace, and good will toward man are pretty high up there as well. Just so you know I’m not totally mercenary.
So, do you have your lists ready? Do you know what you would like for Christmas? What about your fantasy Christmas list? What would you like to receive if you could have anything and money was no object?
Just to add a little fun to the sharing, all of those who comment before midnight on Friday, November 23rd will be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win a signed cover flat of my upcoming release, Seduced By Sin, along with their choice of a signed copy of one of my first four books. (You can mull over your choices at my website.) I will announce the winner on Saturday, November 24th.
Have a very happy Thanksgiving!

My wish list this year includes the fees for my application to RWA and then the Kentucky Chapter. That will be from my hubby.
I have a list as long as your leg of books I want to get from Amazon as well as a few James Taylor CDs. The movie Stranger Than Fiction or Little Women with June Allyson.
My MIL is getting 7 old cameras “developed” onto disks for me from when my daughter was between 6 months and a year old that I never got around to getting developed. And last night my hubby had to take the fun out of another gift his mom is getting me- a spice rack.
Not sure how I feel about it and I would’ve preferred not to know, but hubby tends to want to tell me EVERYTHING he knows I’m getting. He can’t let a surprise be a surprise…He just came in the kitchen when he got off the phone with his mom and said, “Oh, by the way, act surprised when you see the spice rack.”
ACK! Men!
I told him if his parents start asking about what to get me to tell them to just get me a B&N gift card, but nope, don’t guess that’s going to happen. LOL
If money were no object…shew…build on to the house, get some storage containers…mostly stuff to organize my home because I feel like I live in chaos.

My Christmas wish is that my dear sweet mother in law will burn Christmas dinner. I know it seems mean but I have to hear about her perfect Christmas dinner all year from my husband. I would be so very happy to know that Saint Carry is not as perfect as my husband seems to think lol. Of course this is a fantasy wish, but it sure would be a dream come true. lol

Hello all! Sorry I haven’t been commenting lately.
My b-day is near Christmas so I have a longer list (have to give people options…LOL)…the main thing on my list is a handheld eBook reader…and of course books!!! I also asked for money toward a trip I want to take to a reader-author conference in South Carolina.
Oh, and if money were no option, I’d love for someone to pay for me to go to the RT convention just once in my life…or for every year they hold it while I am still alive…LOL.

Books are always on my list. I keep a running list of books I want at all times, just in case someone asks me. People know that, to me, a gift card to a bookstore is THE perfect gift!
Somehow they always forget that I’d like to have either Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom delivered to the doorstep in time for Christmas.

My birthday is on Tuesday so its far enough away from Christmas that I get separate presents and close enough that I don’t have to wait too long for Christmas to roll around. The only thing I want is a blue I-pod nano. The cute new ones that play video, holds pictures, AND plays music. I am guaranteed a few bookstore gift cards from my sisters and mom!

My Christmas wish list includes a external CD/DVD RW drive for my computer. As well as my usual purse or better yet purses.
Other than that I just like to see my kids enjoy the holiday. It’s amazing how much pleasure, you can get out of just watching their little faces light up.

My mistake is I don’t usually ask for much and end up with things like rug cleaners and air cleaners – ugh. But not always thank heavens. (I already saw by mistake in the garage another George Foreman grill because I hate the first one he gave me because it’s so hard to clean so he got me one that is suppose to be easier to clean – sigh).
A fantasy wish would be a wall to wall library with the moving ladder and a window seat overlooking a fabulous view lol.

What I would like for Christmas is a flat screen computer monitor, AutoCad 2007, most of the books on my TBB list including the OOP ones, and a new digital camera with at least 10mp and at least 12X optical zoom so I can indulge my passion for photography.
My fantasy Christmas list?? Gerard Butler sporting a shiny red bow and bearing a diamond ring!!
If money were no object and I could have anything I wanted, I would want a limitless worldwide first class plane ticket, funds for hotels, meals, and transportation, and a LOT of money for souveniers from all of my travels.
Santa, can you hear me????

Jillian I took my Granddaughter to see Ratatouille and it is adorable.
I have more fun giving gifts than receiving gifts. I don’t like it when the attention is focused on me. Actually, I’d rather have people give me things during the year that mean something or are special other than the obligatory Christmas gift.
I really would like a new front door though.
And, if money were no object ~ a cruise or trip would be great.
