A silly post for today. From me?! I know, you’re shocked.
Have you checked out the lolcat phenomenon? If not, get thee to I Can Has Cheezburger(sic) stat! If you don’t know what a lolcat is, Wikipedia has a good definition — “Lolcats are images combining photographs of a cat with a humorous and idiosyncratic caption.” The captions are rarely grammatically correct. Shana, cover your eyes! Also, if you are interested in loldogs, lolpresidents, etc. (you get the picture) do a search and have some fun.

Oh, Lordy, I adore Cheezburger! It and CuteOverload are my daily time wasters of choice. I love the odd misspellings and misplaced grammar because it is, after all, the cats themselves who are supposedly writing the captions. I hadn’t seen any of these particular ones (except for Jazz Hands, which is one of my personal favorites, too), so thanks for the treat, Anne.

Hey, most of those are pretty fun. Cats are just funny all by themselves anyway.
And the grammar thing is cute…up to a point. Too much of it and it starts to annoy me. Maybe it’s the little editor that lives in my brain, I don’t know.
