Although I can moan and groan with the rest of America, I find myself watching–and actually looking forward to–various reality television shows.
I Love American Idol. I got in on the last of America’s Got Talent. Dancing with the Stars isn’t on my calendar (it was when Drew and Cheryl won it) but if I happen to be flipping channels, I’ll definitely stop when I get to it. I’ve watched some of America’s Next Top Model. I’m looking forward to The Biggest Loser (which I’ve watched in previous seasons). Gee….what haven’t I watched???
Hmmm…..I only watched Survivor the first season…never have gotten in Big Brother or The Amazing Race….
I’m sure I’m forgetting some….How about you? Are you like me….a reality TV junkie?? And, if there are some shows I’m missing….I’d love to add them to my list

I really enjoyed “Hell’s Kitchen” this summer. For some sicko reason, I find Gordon Ramsey to be sexy…(I feel so dirty I’m going to take a shower now)
I used to like “The Real World” until it got really smarmy (I think that was the Las Vegas season). I just can’t get into “The Bachelor” for some reason.
I find that I am now watching more “medical drams”. I watch ER, House, and Gray’s Anatomy. And to tell the truth, I turn my face when they are doing “surgery”.

I forgot all about “Hell’s Kitchen”….I liked watching it, too. I never watched “The Real World” but have watched a couple seasons of “The Bachelor” (another one I forgot)
Turning your face when the medical shows are “doing surgery” reminds me of something else—anyone else hate it when the news is doing a story on abused animals and show them without warning???!!!!

I love Dancing With the Stars – saw it on tour in Feb.
Drew is all time favorite and really loved the first season too with John O’Hurlihy.
Love forward to it starting up again Sept. 24. Jenny Garth is to be on it and I hope the rumor I heard is NOT true that Wayne Newton may be on it.

I am an old curmudgeon. I just can’t get into reality TV. I tried with the first season of Dancing with the Stars but then at the end I really felt that it was a fix and after that had no interest in watching again. As for the rest, they don’t seem to be people I would want to get to know. But I discovered NetFlix a few months ago and am now awash in a steady stream of old movies and that has turned into my summer “TV” time.

I’ve never gotten into any of the reality shows except Survivor, Big Brother and The Amazing Race. All the rest have not interested me. I started with The Real World for quite a few seasons, but eventually it got old and the participants just seemed so juvenile.
I think the Amazing Race is the best of the bunch, they’re not stuck in one place and get to see the world on top of a chance to win.

I really got hooked on Dancing With The Stars this year. Hate it, because I liked not watching a lot of tv. But now I watch three shows: Dancing with the stars, The Tudors, and Grey’s Anatomy.
The good thing is, two of those shows are on ABC.com and I can watch them online, when I have free time.

I haven’t watched Dancing with the Stars, but both my mother and I are completely hooked on another dancing show, ”So You Think You Can Dance.” It is all amateurs working with professional choreographers, some for the first time in their lives. No violence, no swearing, just a nice clean show that my mother and I can watch together and enjoy without wincing or hitting the mute button on the remote.
Other reality shows we like have been mentioned – Amazing Race, American Idol, Survivor, and both my mother and I were urked (to mildly put it) when CBS yanked Pirate Master from the schedule with FIVE episodes left (idgets!!!).

Most of the reality shows annoy me. Wanted to check out Pirate Master but had conflicts with timing and a full DVR and when those were finally resolved, it had been yanked.
Most game shows annoy me too (can’t stand hysterical contestents) but I’m fond of Cash Cab on Discovery (trivia game held during cab rides in NYC with passengers). During the 2 a.m. feedings, I often watch Family Feud with John O’Hurley as the host (love his voice). The new Power of 10 with Drew Carey is entertaining. Can’t wait until they bring back Smarter Than A 5th Grader.

I like Dancing with the Stars. But, if I watch or not usually depends on the stars on the show.
I really enjoy Top Chef on Bravo. And, every now & then I watch Workout.

Well, Family Feud is actually a classic game that traces back wayback in the 80′s i guess. It is a nice game anyway.’*,
