I write Edwardian-set Historicals. Submitted some Regency MSS a few years back that thankfully got rejected when I changed time periods.I’m most curious about how a published author on a deadline grows their novel: the journey from idea germ to actual plotting. Does research ever turn up anything you add to your characters/plot? How do you research for each MS?

I’ve been procrastinating – a lot – but these days, I’m writing again, I’m taking it one day at a time, one page a time.

I am a half-ass writer – historical romance (which is hopefully in the funny (ha-ha)and not the funny (weird) way). But I come here more as a reader than a writer. However, I very much have enjoyed the in-depth backgrounds you have been giving on your new book, Margo. And I thought that the layout of GMC that Robyn gave using her own book to fill in the specific elements was extremely interesting.

I’m just a reader!! I wouldn’t even know where to begin to write a book. I can’t even write an interesting blog comment, much less a whole book. lol
