Are you aware that last week the TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY edition of Dirty Dancing was released? I practically had to re-paste my false teeth in when I heard that one.

I loved Space Camp, Lois!

Yes, Shirley, no one saw Anthony Michael Hall growing into the hottie he is today. He alone should make girls in high schools across America give those geeky boys a second look. :)

Ah, Stand By Me, the first inkling I had that Stephen King wasn't totally strange. I love that movie.

Uh oh, Robyn. Don't hit me, but I was a solid Haimster. (Probably because my sister liked Feldman and I had to be oppositional, LOL) I loved Lost Boys. Just an all around great summer movie flick. And Jenna, I was a huge River Phoenix fan as well. Stand By Me has got to be one of the best movies ever, and his character in that just made my heart melt. What a sweetie! :)

Now, if we're talking John Hughes, The Breakfast Club was always my favorite, though I was fond of Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink as well.

And Young Guns...Sigh. My sister and I went to see it at the theater numerous times the year it came out. She loved Emilio Estevez and I had a thing for Lou Diamond Phillips, so we were both happy. :)

Oh geez, when it comes to the 80s, and besides the biggies of Star Wars and all, I looooved Space Camp. Knew it backwards and forwards. I grew up and finally saw it again, and saw all the mistakes. LOL Then there was He-Man/She-Ra, Muppets Take Manhattan, Flight of the Navigator (where I first heard I Get Around). . . and that's all I can think of. :)

Okay, y'all have convinced me... am adding Lost Boys to our Netflix queue. And Valley Girls, since I've never seen it and we owe a huge debt of gratitude to Nicholas Cage for talking his pal Johnny into giving acting a try when the music gig wasn't going well. I've been hooked on Johnny since the opening episode of 21 Jump Street, and can visit Officer Hanson anytime I want, thanks to all four seasons on DVD. :)

Nope. Nothing tops Jason Patric in "The Lost Boys". I *still* get giddy when I see the movie. Unlesssss...it's an old TV show starring Mr. Johnny Depp...*swoon*

I actually was a Corey Haim teeny-bopper. I had the posters all over my room to prove it. And "Legend" starring Tom Cruise was another fave of mine.
