That was fun! Some of those “Worst Covers” were truly amazing, weren’t they? Who are the publishers who let their books go out on the shelves looking like that? So, so sad.
Alice Audrey Says:
Thanks for the link!

Thanks for the link. I tried to vote but their server was overloaded. I’ll have to try again another time.
Some of those nominees for “Worst cover” are truly hidious!!! The one for “Hell Kat??” Good Lord, talk about copping a feel!!! How vulgar can a cover get before it gets a big ol’ “NO WAY” from either the author or the editor???
Cindy Kirk Says:
The Worst cover ones are really the most interesting. lol
When I have more time, I’d like to look up who published those horrible covers. I agree, those are truly awful…
Clarisse Says:
I think I am too soft-hearted. I can’t bring myself to vote for a worst cover. After all, some poor writer gets her book published and has to be mortified about an ugly cover she had nothing to do with. I can’t find it in my heart to now get her poor book immortalized as having the worst cover of 2006. But I did vote for the other categories, although I was surprised how few Avon covers were there. I thought 2006 was a spectacular year for Avon covers.
Cindy Kirk Says:
Clarisse,
I was surprised to by how few Avon covers there were….but did you notice you could nominate 2007 covers for next year’s competition?
I think some of the Jaunty Quill authors deserve to have their 2007 covers nominated!
