The weather this weekend was absolutely gorgeous!! I was able to enjoy the sunshine and cool breezes, open up all the windows in the house, bake, read, and work on projects

I am too frazzled to think of a haiku poem. It’s been hectic lately. Yesterday was my bithday. Tomorrow I am going into the hospital to have my baby girl by c-section. I am so excited.

Haiku? Had no idea what the format was and had to look it up. But, I’ll give it a try:

A pretty lass, Kate
Shivers in a frigid place
Comfort eases close

Haunted, Christian hides
Snow encases, hearts will melt
Love waits in quiet

Death strikes unannounced
Senses rise like tidal waves
Lovers trust again.

I am having a wonderful, wonderful day. First, I finished a submission finally for the Regency contest (got 3 votes so far. I keep checking!) It felt so good to have written and finished something, maybe only one chapter. But it’s something.
Second, last week we got a high speed connection, but my old computer in the basement, a true dinosaur) couldn’t handle it. So, I got a new Gateway computer on sale for under $400! It’s fast. It’s small. It’s beautiful. This is the first computer I’ve gotten new and I love, love it.

And hey, Cheri Japp–A baby girl tomorrow! More wonderful than my day!
